Great guide! Thanks for writing it. Just one note: you have a typo in "consommé"; it's spelled with one 'm' as "consomé." Tacos el Patrón is also my favorite taquería in SF, along with La Torta Gorda.
Saving for a future trip! For drinks, what about Smuggler’s Cove? I have their cocktail book and it’s incredible.
Also love Chuy's Fiestas for pleasant backyard dining, seafood tacos, and micheladas.

Bernal Cutlery has some easily overlooked bargain drawers of $5 knives. Get down on the ground and sift through them. There’s some gems.
